Skipper and Jungle Run hit the target
SKIPPER and Jungle Run kept the winners ticking along for the team with victories at Chelmsford and Windsor respectively.
The former, owned by Julian Richmond-Watson, had some strong form in the book and went off a short price to get off the mark at the fourth time of asking.
He duly obliged under Jack Mitchell, winning the mile maiden by a cosy length and a half.
On Monday, Jungle Run returned to the winners enclosure with a win in the 5f handicap at Windsor.
He was given a good ride by our Connor Planas, getting up close home to win by a neck.
Tom said: "It was great to see Skipper get his head in front. He's a lovely horse who had some excellent form in 3yo novices.
"Jungle Run is our lead horse so to get him to win for Connor was a terrific result. Connor had to be strong on him but he has done it well in the end."
