Silenciosa wins on debut

SILENCIOSA made an impressive start to her career when winning at Southwell on Friday.

Owned by Jastar Capital Ltd, the daughter of Blame overcame greenness to score in style under Jack Mitchell.

She was drawn wide so Jack took back and settled his mount at the rear of the field.

She travelled very well and was full of running with two furlongs to run.

The gaps came and she picked up well to win easily by a length under a hands and heels ride.

Tom said: “Her work has been good and we were hoping for a performance like that. I’m thrilled for Raj and Jay Matharu who have been long-term supporters. Hopefully she is a nice one for them.”
