Rose Cotton is first win of 2026

ROSE Cotton provided the team with our first win of 2026 when taking a fillies’ handicap at Wolverhampton on Tuesday evening.

Owned by Hasmonean Racing, Chris Fahy and The Marchants, this daughter of New Bay was having only her third career start but looked to be making up for lost time with an impressive performance.

Ridden by Jack Mitchell, she made every yard of the running, kicking off the final bend to win by three lengths.

Tom said: “We’ve only had a handful of runners and it’s always great to get the first winner of the year. Rose Cotton has taken a long time to mature and come to hand but she’s a good looking well-bred filly who can hopefully have a good season.”
