Rogue Lightning lands Listed prize
The son of Kodiac, owned by the Rogues Gallery, won over course and distance in July before taking the Shergar Cup Dash at Ascot last month.
This had been the target since that success and he got the job done in smooth style under Danny Tudhope.
There were only four runners but Danny was able to get a good tow into the race and when he asked his mount a serious question he responded smartly to run down the favourite Raasel to win by an eased down length.
Tom said: "Since being gelded and dropped down to five furlongs, things have really clicked for him. We have always thought a lot of him and it's come together now. The plan is to head to France for the Prix de L'Abbaye now - he deserves a crack at a race like that and it's a very open sprint division.
"A big well done to Carrie (Browning) who has done an amazing job with him at home."
