The daughter of Shalaa, a 10,000eu breeze up buy, has shown good form in her previous two starts including when second over course and distance three weeks ago.

Jockey Rob Hornby was able to adopt a handy position on the girths of the leader and favourite Queenofdestruction.

Turning for home it was clear that Miss Funky Monk had the better of that rival and she quickened up to lead at the furlong marker.

From then on it was hands and heels and she went on to score well by two and a quarter lengths.
