Lord Normandy off the mark
The son of Le Harve, owned by Mike Bringloe, was third on debut at the Essex venue in October and had come forward for a gelding operation and step up in trip.
Given a good ride by Danny Tudhope, Lord Normandy was always well positioned and showed a decent attitude to hold off Prometeo by a length.
Tom said: “Lord Normandy has always shown up well in his work. He is a nice looking horse who should improve for turf and stay up to 1m4f next summer. Hopefully he is up to contesting some of the better handicaps.”
