Koko Blue and Magic Harry off the mark
KOKO Blue and Magic Harry have got September off to a good start both opening their accounts over the past week.
Owned by Mike D’Arcy and Steve Corps, Koko Blue has run well all season and deserved this break through success in the hands of our apprentice Molly Keegan-Price. She took the apprentice handicap at Newcastle last Wednesday dropped back in trip to ten furlongs.
The Coda Racing -owned Magic Harry won the 7f novice at Leicester yesterday under David Egan.
The son of Harry Angel was third at Pontefract last time out and he showed a likable attitude to win by a length and a quarter.
Tom said: “Mike and Steve have been incredibly patient with Koko and it was great to see her win so nicely. The drop back in trip suited and she enjoys a flat galloping track.
“Magic Harry is a lovely colt , he ran well on debut and benefitted from getting his toe in and the step up to seven furlongs.”
