Jumbeau and Rajindri keep the ball rolling

JUMBEAU and Rajindri kept the ball rolling for the team with victories at Windsor and Kempton respectively.

Owned by the Lingfield Park Owners Group and partners, Jumbeau landed the £30k 5f feature handicap in the hands of up and coming apprentice Jack Doherty.

She was a touch outpaced early on but Jack kept her up to it and she wore down the pacesetting Democracy Dilemma to win by a neck.

Rajindri was unlucky not to win on her seasonal debut at Yarmouth but went one better a 7f handicap at Kempton under Kieran Shoemark.

Owned by Raj Matharu, she travelled well in behind the leaders before getting up to win by half a length.

Tom said: "We were delighted to see Jumbeau return to winning ways - she has been running well but hadn't won for a while so that was great. It was a good time too and a nice prize to win.

"The race set up was ideal for Rajindri - they went quick and she was able to travel well. She's a talented filly with a nice profile. She'll head to the Kensington Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot now."
