Hattrick for Quantum Power

QUANTUM Power made it three wins on the bounce when taking a 5f handicap at Newmarket on Saturday.

Moulton Racing’s progressive sprinter had won his previous two starts at Newmarket and Windsor and defied a rise in the weights to win well under Jack Callan.

He was always to the fore before pressing on inside the final furlong to win by half a length.

Tom said: “Quantum Power is a sprinter in form – he is versatile regarding ground and how he is ridden.

“There is a race for him at Glorious Goodwood so we’ll freshen him up for that.”

It was a good day for the team with Silenciosa finishing second in the Listed Distaff Stakes at Sandown, gaining valuable black type.
