Owned by the HPB syndicate, the daughter of Starman was second at Lingfield a month ago and had little trouble going one better under Luke Morris.
She was always to the fore and despite still showing greenness, she went on to score comfortably by two lengths.
Tom said: “She is a filly who was slow to come to hand last year – her owners have been patient and she has come good for them. She’s very laid back and should continue to improve as the season goes on.”
It was nearly a bank holiday weekend double for the team as Pure Moon went down by just a short head in the 1m4f maiden at Southwell on Sunday.
