August starts strong

AUGUST has started off well for the team with four winners this week.
August starts strong

Tiora Time got the ball rolling when winning her maiden in the colours of Nick Bradley Racing at Doncaster on Saturday. Ridden by Neil Callan, she overcame a troubled passage to win by three lengths.

On Wednesday, both Bugzy and Time Theif got their careers off to the best possible start winning on debut at Pontefract and Yarmouth respectively. Bugzy, owned and bred by Tommy Severn, overcame greenness to win by a length under Danny Tudhope.

Time Thief, owned by Benny Andersson, showed a likable attitude to win, overcoming the long-time leader Liberate by a neck under Neil Callan. The son of Time Test is now three and was making his belated debut but his owner has been patient and this can hopefully be rewarded going forward.

Lastly, the most impressive winner of the week was Crown And Two who landed the 6f restricted novice at Newmarket on Thursday. Owned by the Crown and Two syndicate, the son of Sergei Prokoviev made every yard of the running under Billy Loughnane and scored by five lengths.

Tom said: “It has been a great week for the team, we knew our two year olds would take a little time but they are really coming good now and look decent prospects. Thank you to the staff who have been working hard behind the scenes and hopefully this momentum can continue into the autumn.”
