Owned by Raed El Yousef, the son of Dark Angel returned to winning ways at Kempton earlier in the month and showed his well being again with a smooth win under Oisin Murphy.

He likes to come from behind so Oisin got plenty of cover and Al Barez travelled strongly. He weaved through the field, getting up on the line to win by a short head.

Tom said: "Oisin rode him to perfection and he has done it well. We are looking forward to stepping him up in grade."
